THE EXQUISITE GARDEN OF DIOR
For this season the fashion house Dior took its collection to the South of France. Raf Simons, its creative director, was the architect of this peaceful and natural setting in which a legion of flowers adorned the magnificent mise-en-scène of the runway.
It all started with a strong Victorian touch; first to arrive on the runway were shorts combined with tailored pieces, such as blazers, accessorized with soft silk scarves tied at the neck, as if they were jewels, a delicate combination of feminine and masculine. We also saw dresses with transparencies, made in silks in pastel tones, as well as minimalist silhouettes with modern touches. In the garden of Dior flourished fresh and exquisite garments for this time of the year.

KEY PIECES
Impeccable cuts in modern blazers, accompanied by straight leg trousers; silk skirts, with knitted and transparency details, that add strength to these pieces. Wonderful innovative knitted sweaters with a scalloped hem, matched with delicate shorts, in lightweight fabrics, whose tones went from white, to pastels, up to the dramatic black.

KEY ACCESSORIES
Textured bags, with metallic effects in gold, red, and green, were some of the most outstanding and desired pieces of Dior’s runway. Silk scarves that wrapped around the neck, with precious stones details, combined with high heels, in a mixture of materials with delicate straps that wrap the foot. To add more shine to the outfits, Dior used large earrings with futuristic designs, a unique stamp of its creative director.

KEY TEXTURES
A runway full of soft knitted wools with figures, as if it were a garden, sheer fabrics with stripes and silks with cutouts that show skin. Dior presents soft coats with handmade floral appliqués, in neutral tones, that stand out from the fabric.

This collection of Dior is betting on modern tailoring for the working days; bold short dresses combined with knitted crop tops, fitted and made in delicate fabrics, ideal for the spring days.
