Lima spring-summer 2017 - Fashion Factor - Situational Fashion - Fashion Factor Digital Magazine

Lima SS19

A sophisticated and exotic city located on the Pacific coast, with a dry climate that invites you to wear lightweight clothes.

The climate of the city is quite unusual given its location. It tends to have sunny, moist and warm summers and cloudy, damp and cool winters. The rain is almost non-existent making Lima one of the driest capitals in the world. It is a very strange phenomenon for tourists. For your trip you should be prepared to be comfortable in the warm, humid and slightly cold weather, so pack lightweight garments and one or two sweaters.

Why does it work?

For Lima’s weather, we suggest wearing clothes that are versatile and can protect you from the cold weather. During the months of July, August and September the temperature becomes mild, so you can wear light jeans pair with woven tops and a cozy Chanel style jacket. Finish your outfit with a pair of block-heel satin sandals and a quilted shoulder bag.

Why does it work?

For a work day, we suggest an elegant look with comfortable and high-quality pieces. Wear a good quality sweater, a pair of wide-leg jeans that make you look slender, and a pair of leather slippers with hardware details. Accessorize your look with a gold watch, a structured bag, and eye catching long blue earrings.

Why does it work?

For dinner, we suggest choosing something more daring, for example, a romantic mini dress with a modest lace and tulle neckline. For the cold weather of the evenings, wear a heavyweight trench coat and a pair of high-heel ankle boots with striking details on the heel. Give a touch of brightness to the look with silver jewelry and a clutch.
