The climate of the city is quite unusual given its location. It tends to have sunny, moist and warm summers and cloudy, damp and cool winters. The rain is almost non-existent making Lima one of the driest capitals in the world. It is a very strange phenomenon for tourists. For your trip you should be prepared to be comfortable in the warm, humid and slightly cold weather, so pack lightweight garments and one or two sweaters.

During the months of July, August and September the temperature becomes mild, so you can wear light jeans pair with woven tops and a cozy Chanel style jacket.
